there's a serious balance issue with 2h swords or dual wielding swords. since swords are faster than hammers, two of them would do more dmg than hammers would. what would a final thrust with 2 swords do...

not wanting to compare it to any other game but in wow they reduce the power of the wep u had in ur second hand by about half.

You dont know yet, the game hasnt been released , there very well could be a dual-weilding sword, just no one has gotten that far yet.

In WoW (World of Warcraft) dual wielding incurred a base miss chance of 24% (compared to 5%) and the offhand weapon did 50% dmg. It's more damage than 1 handed, but the same as 2 handed I think. Regardless, dual wielding is popular and there's no reason not to add 2 handed axes and swords unless the skill sets prevent that. I haven't looked into the warrior much. |
